TERMS AND CONDITIONS 1. Photographers : - This contest is open to all. - Each person may submit up to 4 entries per person. - Download and must complete the Entry Form with their name, address, daytime telephone, email address and title of work (indicating if it is part of a series if appropriate) in www.xsiteukm.com - The softcopy in original resolution of the photograph and the entry form can be submitted via attached e-mail to xsiteinvent@gmail.com - Each image are subjected to RM10 entry fee per images - Fees are payable by cash, bank-in or online transfer BEFORE submitting the images to either of these account: (164799007743 - MAYBANK) or (12180107365524 - CIMB) (please write your name during online transfer or include transaction number if manual bank-in) or by cash at X-SITE UKM (located at Pusanika) - By submitting the image to this contest, the Photographer has acknowledged that: - They own work submitted, that the whole copyright in the work is vested in the Photographer or, if the copyright belongs to a third party such as an agency, that the Photographer has the right to submit the work free from encumbrances or restrictions and that if the work was commissioned for private and domestic purposes it is submitted with the permission of the person who commissioned it. - If their work is selected for exhibition, the Photographer have obtained the appropriate model releases from persons featured in their submitted photographs for all sales, marketing, educational and publicity uses and that no additional releases are required in respect of names, trademarks, designs or works of art depicted in the work. - Agree that their work may be exhibited by the organisers at an appropriate venue, and subsequently at any other exhibition tour venues organised by them for 2 years from the close of the contest. - Agree that the organisers may use any entries featured in the exhibition without any payment to the Photographer, model or any third party for any sales, marketing, educational and publicity use on, and in, all media worldwide including catalogues, posters, postcards, the Internet and within a television documentary related to the exhibition for 2 years from the close of the contest. However, such free use shall only be in connection with the VOl:2 X-Site Photography Competition and its promotion, and the photographer, and if appropriate the agency, will receive credit for such use. - Entries will be disqualified if any of the above criteria are not adhered to. The judges’ decision will be final. 2. Photographs - The photographs must be the interpretation of the theme HERITAGE. It may be interpreted in its widest sense, in relation to 'photography concerned with portraying people, lifestyle, nature, urban with emphasis on their identity. - Commercial and advertising images, heavy digitally manipulated, or montaged images are not permissable. Basic techniques e.g. levels, curves, dodging, burning, minimal sharpening, colour correction are permissable. - Images with branded product logos that are prominent are not allowed. - Can be black and white or in colour. Photographs must not have any borders, keyline or film edges, name, personal logos or watermarks. 3. The decision of the judges is final and no discussion or correspondence can be entered into. The judges reserve the right to vary the awards or not to make any award. 4. Timeline - Call for Entries : 09 February 2010 - 8th March 2010 - Judging will take place after the due date of submission. Photographers whose entries are selected as winners will be notified by email before 15thd March 2010. - Winners gallery will be available on this website from this date. - Shortlisted Finalists Exhibited photographs : - The organisers will prepare and mount all photographs from the finalists for exhibition. The copyright belongs to the photographer subject to the Rules in Paragraph 1 above. All submitted entry shall not be return. 5. The Winners will be featured at www.xsiteukm.com and our X-SITE venue itself. 6. The exhibition venues or the organisers shall not be liable for any loss or damage, whether or not caused by their negligence. |

Jurufoto - Peraduan ini terbuka kepada semua - Setiap individu layak menghantar sehingga empat (4) penyertaan. - Muat turun borang penyertaan di www.xsiteukm.com dan penuhkan data yang dikendaki. - Salinan softcopy dalam resolusi asal foto dan borang penyertaan boleh dihantar melalui email ke xsiteinvent@gmail.com - Setiap penyertaan dikenakan caj yuran sebanyak RM10, untuk dibayar secara tunai, bank-in atau dalam talian SEBELUM menghantar penyertaan ke mana-mana akaun (164799007743 - MAYBANK) or (12180107365524 - CIMB) (sila tuliskan nama anda jika membuat pindahan atas talian atau sertakan nombor rujukan transaksi jika bank-in) atau secara tunai di X-SITE UKM (terletak di Pusanika) - Dengan menghantar foto kepada peraduan ini, Jurufoto telah mengakui bahawa: - Mereka memiliki foto yang dihantar, dan seluruh hakcipta dimiliki mereka, atau jika hakcipta dimiliki oleh pihak ketiga seperti agensi, Jurufoto bebas untuk menghantar kerja mereka tanpa larangan atau sekatan, dan jika foto tersebut sebahagian dari kerja untuk individu, ia dihantar dengan izin individu tersebut. - Sekiranya foto mereka terpilih untuk pameran, Jurufoto telah memperolehi kebenaran dari individu yang terdapat dalam foto mereka untuk tujuan jualan, promosi, pendidikan dan publisiti oleh pihak penganjur. - Bersetuju untuk membenarkan foto mereka boleh dipamerkan oleh penganjur di lokasi yang sesuai, dan sebarang pameran lain yang dianjurkan dua (2) tahun dari tarikh tutup pertandingan. - Bersetuju untuk membenarkan Penganjur menggunakan foto yang dipamerkan tanpa bayaran kepada Jurufoto, model atau mana-mana pihak ketiga untuk sebarang tujuan jualan, promosi, pendidikan, publisiti atau lain-lain termasuk dalam bentuk katalog, poster, poskad, internet dan dokumentari dalam tempoh dua (2) tahun selepas tarikh tutup pertandingan. Walau demikian, penggunaan demikian hanya terhad untuk tujuan berkaitan X-Site Photography Competition Vol 2 dan Jurufoto beserta agensi akan menerima kredit untuk penggunaan tersebut. - Penyertaan akan dilucutkan jika mana-mana kriteria di atas tidak dapat dipenuhi. 2. Foto - Foto mestilah mentafsirkan tema. HERITAGE(WARISAN). Ia boleh ditafsirkan secara bebas, termasuklah menggunakan gambaran manusia, gaya hidup, alam semulajadi, urban dan identiti, - Foto komersial atau iklan, dimanipulasi digital secara berlebihan, atau imej montaj tidak dibenarkan. Bagaimanapun teknik-teknik asas sepeti curves, dodging, burning, sharpening secara minima, colour correction adalah dibenarkan. Imej yang memaparkan logo dan jenama tertentu (kecuali UKM) sebagai fokus utama tidak dibenarkan. - Foto hitam putih atau berwarna diterima. Foto perlulah bebas dari sebarang border, keyline atau film edges, nama, logo peribadi atau watermark. 3. Keputusan hakim adalah muktamad dan sebarang perbincangan tidak dibenarkan. Hakim dibenarkan menambah jumlah hadiah atau tidak memberi sebarang hadiah dalam situasi tertentu. 4. Garis masa - Panggilan penyertaan: 09hb Februari 2010 - 8hb Mac 2010. - Penjurian akan berlangsung selepas tarikh tutup penyertaan. Jurufoto untuk foto yang dipilih sebagai pemenang akan dimaklumkan menerusi email dan SMS sebelum 15hb Mac 2010. - Galeri pemenang dan finalis akan terdapat di laman web bermula pada tarikh ini. - Pameran foto finalis: penganjur akan menyediakan semua foto dari finalis untuk dipamerkan. Hakcipta adalah milik Jurufoto seperti tertakluk dalam terma di atas. Semua penyertaan tidak akan dipulangkan. 5. Karya para pemenang akan dipamerkan di www.xsiteukm.com dan kiosk X-SITE kami. 6. Penganjur akan menjaga foto yang dihantar dengan baik, namun tidak bertanggungjawab atas sebarang kerosakan ke atasnya. |
